Holy Isle retreat with Prajnaparamita, May 26 - June 5 2010

 

 

 

 

During this retreat we are guests on Holy Isle, an island just off the Scottish west coast. Here the tradition of great masters like Tilopa is kept alive from the sixth century on. During these ten days we stay on the Buddhists centre there, probably the only set of buildings on the island, which is filled with silence and beautiful nature.

 

 

 

Everybody is asked to organize their own travel plans to Holy Isle.
For information: from Glasgow is a train going to Ardrossan Harbor, from where you can take the ferry to Arran. From Arran there is a small ferry which takes you to Holy Isle. Timetables for these ferries will be posted on this website in the near future.
